Files back up is maybe the most important habit you need to do. Though we provide an Uptime of 99.8% SLA, we recommend our customers to keep back ups of your files in a recurrent basis using multiple different ways. in this article we are going to cover one of the most efficient ways to do so, using our "Backup On Cloud (RClone)" 1 click installable application.

Step 1 - Install "Backup On Cloud (RClone)"

Open your Cloudbox Management page and find & install "Backup On Cloud (RClone)" application within the Available Applications section.

Backup On Cloud (RClone)
RClone is an open source library that can syncronize data between your Cloudbox and other cloud services providers such as Google Drive, Dropbox etc.

Step 2 - Connect a supported Cloud Storage Provider

Connect any of the supported Cloud Storage Providers, Google Drive, Dropbox or Onedrive (Copy Once mode only)

Step 3 - Grant Access to Cloudboxes provider app

Grant access to the official Provider Application.

Step 4 - Add Sync or Copy Once Folders

Sync Mode makes source and dest identical, modifying destination only. In order to set up a Sync Folder, add New Sync and configure as showing in the image below.

*Make sure you don't include '/mnt/shared' prefix when submiting local folder paths.

You have successfully set up a back up of your Storage files and folders over your preferred Cloud Storage providers.
