Setup Prowlarr with Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr or Readarr

Introduction

In this tutorial we are going to setup Prowlarr to work with Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, and Readarr. Updating an indexer or a download client on Prowlarr will also update it on your connected apps.

Prowlarr is currently available as 1-click installable app for beta users.
As a beta user you will have the opportunity to install and test even more applications while helping the team to improve these builds.

Step 1 - Install Prowlarr

From your dashboard, go to available apps list and find Prowlarr app. Then click Install.


Step 2 - Add Indexers

  1. Open Prowlarr dashboard.
  2. Click on the "+ Add Indexer" button
  3. Find the indexer you want to add and click on it
  4. Fill in necessary fields, and click Save


Step 3 - Add Apps

  1. Go to Settings > Apps
  2. Under Applications, click the "+" icon.
  3. Select the app you want to connect (eg. Sonarr)
  4. Fill in details:
    • Select Sync Level: 'Add and Remove Only' (or 'Full Sync' with caution)
    • Prowlarr Server: https://username-prowlarr.cpxx.cloudboxes.io (where username is your cloudbox's username and cpxx is your cloudbox's node)
    • Sonarr Server: https://username-sonarr.cpxx.cloudboxes.io (where username is your cloudbox's username and cpxx is your cloudbox's node)
    • ApiKey of this app, find it under Sonarr > Settings > General > Security > API Key
  5. Click Test and then Save


Step 4 - Add Download Clients

  1. Go to Settings > Download Clients
  2. Under Download Clients, click the "+" icon.
  3. Select the app you want to connect with (eg. Deluge)
  4. Fill in details:
    • Name: Deluge
    • Host: https://username-deluge.cpxx.cloudboxes.io (where username is your cloudbox's username and cpxx is your cloudbox's node)
    • Port: 443
    • Use SSL: Yes
    • Password: your-client-password
  5. Click Test and then Save

You have successfully setup your Prowlarr to work with Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, and Readarr. Updating an indexer or a download client will also update it on your connected apps.
